Switching majors to Fine Arts!deviantID
| My name is Chris King. I am an aspiring illustrator of barely 18 years old. I would call myself a nerd, but it would be inaccurate because the only nerdy thing about me is that I read comic books and draw super heroes, etc. I wish I played video games or read Harry Potter, watched Heroes, etc, because I am always SO lost when people discuss such things around me. I like to have fun, which sounds pretty redundant since ideally that would make sense for everyone. But I have come to find that some people love being miserable. Not me anymore! I am happy, and it shows in my artwork lately I think. I like to draw people. They fascinate me. If you like my work, feel free to tell me. If you hate my work, tell me why so I can work on it. I am working on trying to make specific characters look different than others. A lot of artists tend to fall into a pattern of drawing a standard male or female, just changing their hair and clothing. I hope I do not do that, and if you find me getting into a pattern, call me out on it! I made a profile here to improve my art, not to show off. I don't think I am INCREDIBLE at drawing, but I think I am good enough to pursue it in the future. I need YEARS of work to get to where I want to be, and maybe I won't get there, but I'll certainly try. Help me get to where I am. I'm down for doing requests as long as I am familiar with characters or concepts. |

- Favourite genre of music: Indie rock or hardcore. Really anything in between. A mix of the two in one genre is pretty nice too
- Favourite artist: In comics, I will say Bachalo, Sienkewicz, Art Adams, so many excellent artists.
- Favourite style of art: Anything but Anime. Sorry to whoever that offends.
